FULLTIME CAMPUS MINISTER POSITION

The Capital City Church , of Christ. is looking to fill the position(s) of full-time campus minister(s). We are looking for spiritual, enthusiastic and visionary people to apply for the position. The Church in Tallahassee is committed to having a campus ministry that serves the brotherhood by providing a spiritual haven where college students thrive spiritually and emotionally. We also desire to raise up young leadership to help in churches around the world as we have done in the past. With over 50,000 campus students attending Florida State University , FAMU ( Florida A & M University ), and Tallahassee Community College the fields are truly ripe for the harvest.

The Capital City Church ,of Christ. Campus Minister Job Description

I. Title: Campus Minister

• Reports directly to and is under the direction of the Evangelist of the Church with a primary focus on Campus Ministry

II. Spiritual Qualifications:

• Must be a Christian adhering to the orthodox beliefs and practices of the Capital City Church of Christ.
• Must be committed to prayer, study, and the application of the Bible.
• Must be willing to take instruction from the Evangelist and Elders of the Church, and apply to ministry responsibilities.
• Must be visionary and a hard worker
• Must have a recommendation from the Evangelist of their current Church

III. General Description: (Responsibilities include but are not limited to):

• Providing spiritual leadership in the Church
• Development and promotion of the Campus Ministry
• Creating an environment for developing spiritual maturity and growth in the Church and Campus Ministry
• Conducting and overseeing bible studies
• Outreach to the community to share the Gospel
• Developing spiritual leadership within the Campus Ministry
• Outreach to Florida Churches to recruit high school students to the Campus Ministry
• Ability to lead services and other functions for the church as required.
